What is Pearlescent Varnish?

Pearlescent varnish belongs to the specialty UV spot varnish solutions, where pearl particles are added to glossy UV spot varnish.

Pearlescent varnish achieves its true effect ONLY on white surfaces. When applied to cool color tones (non-white), it appears as matte silver. When applied to warm color tones (non-white), it results in a matte gold surface.

We have a unique capability to print perfect white surfaces on any material. As a result, we can always guarantee the proper pearlescent effect, though at the cost of white printing.

Pearlescent varnish effects are primarily used on packaging, book covers, and magazine covers. However, there are no limitations other than the fact that the desired effect is achieved only on white surfaces.
