Offset Printing / Lithography
Offset printing technology involves transferring text and images from one material to another using printing plates.
Note! Offset printing becomes cost-effective for quantities of 1000 pieces or more. Ordering below this amount is not economically reasonable for offset printing.
Main Advantages and Features of Offset Printing
Offset printing is divided into two types:
Sheet-fed Offset Printing
Uses individual sheets of paper; this method is preferred for smaller print runs and jobs requiring more flexible format options.
Web Offset Printing
Uses paper rolls; this method is preferred for large print runs and continuous printing, such as magazines, book covers, and newspapers.
Offset allows the production of high-quality images and text, especially with sharp contours and details.
Similar to silk-screen printing, setting up an offset printing press takes a long time, making low quantities very costly. For large print runs, it's absolutely the right choice. For small print runs, we recommend choosing digital printing.
The material selection for offset is diverse, including various papers, cardboards, and some plastics.
