Using Gloss Lamination
To transform the entire printed surface to a glossy finish, gloss lamination is typically applied. When applied to both sides, you achieve significant moisture resistance. With papers that are too thin, the sheets may start to curl; we recommend using paper with a minimum weight of 140 gsm.
A specialized laminate is available for digital prints, where the inks are highly reactive and often develop a waxy surface layer to which standard laminate adheres less effectively. Digital lamination features a stronger adhesive layer specifically for this purpose.
